Negombo (16km-40 minitues)
Negombo is situated on the west coast and at the mouth of Negombo lagoon, In the western province, 38 km from Colombo via Colombo – Katunayake Expressway and is about 10 km from Bandaranayake International Airport. Negombo is one of the major commercial hubs and it has long sandy beaches and centuries all fishing industry. Negombo is a multi-religious city but the majority are the Roman Catholic. There are over 25 Roman Catholic Churches in the city. It has been given the name little Rome. Negombo is considered one of the largest economic centers of the country. The economy of Negombo is mainly based on tourism, fishing, cinnamon, ceramic, and brassware and also the Colombo stock exchange Negombo branch is going to open International food outlets there as a big project. Negombo city is one of the main tourist destinations in Srilanka. We can see several kinds of hotels and they are very famous for seafood.

Willpaththu (105km- 2Hrs)
Willpaththu is located on the northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. Wilpattu is world-renowned for its leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) population. A remote camera survey conducted in Wilpattu from July to October 2015 by the Wilderness and Wildlife Conservation Trust captured photographs of forty-nine individual leopards in the surveyed area

Polonnaruwa(60km 2Hrs)
Polonnaruwa, the second-oldest of all the kingdoms in Sri Lanka, was initially built as a military outpost by the Sinhalese monarchy. Following the Chola dynasty’s successful conquest of the nation’s then capital, Anuradhapura, in the 10th century, it was renamed Jananathamangalam. Polonnaruwa’s Ancient City has been designated a World Heritage site.

The capital of the Central Province, Kandy is a metropolis of administration and religion. One of the holiest temples in the Buddhist religion, the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) is located in Kandy. In 1988, UNESCO designated it as a world heritage property. The colonial growth and occupation of Portuguese, Dutch, and British were historically resisted by the local Buddhist rulers.
